2004 Toyota Rav4
The
2004 Toyota Rav4 arrives in showrooms with innovated exterior and interior features. Toyota engineers
has thoughtfully added more safety features and interior features as well. Not
only that, a more powerful engine has also been added to this awesome mini-sport
utility. The 2004 Rav4 is offered in one base model only, but there are optional
packages and stand-alone items available for add-ins.
This compact sport utility has added new standard features including power mirrors,
steering-wheel audio controls, variable-intermittent windshield wipers, air conditioning
and an AM/FM/CD player. For this model, Toyota offers Package L which showcases
heated color-keyed mirrors, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob and
rear privacy glass.
For the exterior, Package L has fog lights and a color-keyed spare tire cover
and bumpers as part of the interior package. A Sport Package is also another optional
group which carries such features as color-keyed door handles, a roof rack, overfenders
and a hood scoop that gives the RAV4 a refreshing, trendy and head-turning style.
The 2004 Rav4 has a perceptible revitalized kick owing to the new in-line 4 cylinder
engine. This 2.4 liter engine turns out a stunning 161 horsepower at 5700 rpm
and 165 lb of torque at 400 rpm which allows the car to get off the rumps quicker
and accelerate at higher speeds better.
This vehicle is available in two transmission options, the standard 5-speed manual
and the optional 4-speed automatic transmission. Another modification made to
the 2004 Rav4 is the upgrading of its safety features. The rear disc brakes were
substituted for the rear break drums previously used in older models. A tire pressure
monitor is another fresh equipment added to the 2004 Rav4. Aside from these, front
torso side airbags and head-protecting curtain side airbags are also a first for
the 2004 Toyota RAV4 compact SUV along with the antiskid/traction-control system.
